Nanny Goat Vineyard is named after the wild goats that roam the mountainous terrain of the Central Otago.
A complex and seductively aromatic nose, showing ever-changing layers of blue and dark berry fruits, savoury spice, dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, liquorice and an ethereal floral lift of violet, rose hip and lavender.
The palate is rich upon entry, enveloping your senses into a beautifully poised melange of dark berry fruits, dried herbs, black olive and spice. A blanket of fine velvety tannins ushers you towards a finish that is both lively and persistent. Will pair well with duck, venison and other gamey red meats. Cellar 5-10 years.
